What is Transaction ID

What is Bitcoin Transaction ID or HASH?

A BTC transaction ID, also known as a transaction hash, is a unique identifier assigned to each transaction made on the Bitcoin network.

It is a long string of letters and numbers that serves as a digital fingerprint for the transaction, allowing anyone to track and verify its details on the blockchain.

The transaction ID is generated automatically by the Bitcoin network and can be used to check the status of the transaction, such as whether it has been confirmed and how many confirmations it has received.

Where To Find Your Transaction ID?

Open your Bitcoin wallet and navigate to the transaction history or activity section.
Look for the specific transaction that you want to find the ID for.
Click on the transaction to open its details.
Look for the transaction ID or hash. It may be labelled as "TXID," "Transaction Hash," or something similar.
If you are using a blockchain explorer, you can also enter the sending or receiving address of the transaction to locate it and view the transaction ID.

That's it! The transaction ID is a long string of letters and numbers that is unique to your transaction and can be used to track its status on the blockchain.
